Raising and sustaining business capital is a major challenge for many entrepreneurs, especially small business owners and startups. Without adequate support, this struggle can be overwhelming.

At BloomCity Challenge, we provide a platform to raise capital for your business. You submit your business idea or creative work. Once your submission is accepted, you can rally your fans, friends, and family to vote and crowdfund in support of your idea. Minimum vote is One Hundred Naira (N100) - no maximum. At the end of the challenge season, you pack, directly, the funds voted for your business. You only contribute to our broader empowerment goals.

If you are among the top 10 participants who exceed a threshold, you win one year visibility slot on our website. If you climb further among the top 5, you win a brand new website for your business, hosted by us for one year. All these are in addition to the funds you pack as votes for your business.

Ranks at BloomCity, as Participant or as Referrer

In addition, we would like you to climb our success ranks either as a participant or as a referrer:

Rank 1: BloomCity Participant or Referrer - all who sign up for the BloomCity Challenge either as participant or as referrer; all whose Current Blooms are equivalent to N50,000 or below are in Rank 1. They become friends of BloomCity and can climb through the ranks.

Rank 2: BloomCity Champion - the top 10 from those who have reached the threshold of 501 Blooms or referrers or friends of BloomCity whose Current Blooms are worth between N50,100 and N100,000.

Rank 3: BloomCity Ambassador - all whose Current Blooms are worth between N100,100 and N150,000 either from participation or from referrals, or both.

Rank 4: BloomCity Indigene - all whose Current Blooms are worth between N150,100 and N250,000.

Rank 5: BloomCity Chief - Chiefs are the second-highest rank holders at BloomCity. This includes those whose Current Blooms are equivalent to N250,100 and above.

All rank holders continue to earn bonuses every month as long as participants or their referrals are receiving votes. Rank 1 referrers earn 1% of the votes that come in through those they refer; Rank 2 - 2%; Rank 3 - 3%; Rank 4 - 4%; Rank 5 - 5%.

Steps to Follow, for Participants

1. Prepare your creative piece: a business plan or idea, a song, poem, drawing, art work, carving, wears and stitches, designs, inventions, innovations, music, writeups, photographs, voice notes, in PDF, MP3, JPEG, PNG or MP4 formats (10mb max).

2. Fill in the entry form below, ensure to complete all lines in the form accurately.

3. Submit the form.

4. The organizers will reach out to you during selection to inform you if your entry has been selected for the voting stage.

5. If you have been selected and informed, congratulations, you are now a participant, begin to mobilize fans, friends and family to vote, crowdfund and support your business.

6. If you have not been selected, you can improve on your work and resubmit for the next challenge cycle.

7. Note that the minimum vote is One Hundred Naira (N100) only, no maximum.

8. Voting can be done as many times as possible, to support the participant's business.

9. As a participant, you can vote for your own business.

10. Bulk votes are allowed.

Steps to Follow, for Referrers

1. Fill in the referrers' entry form, ensure to complete all lines in the form accurately.

2. Submit the form.

3. If your registration is accepted, congratulations, you are now a referrer. The organizers will reach out to you with your Referrer's ID.

5. Reach out to the people you know and your loved ones to inform them about BloomCity, where they can raise funds to boost their business capital, learn and gain visibility for their businesses.

6. Remind those you refer to use your Referrer's ID when they register as participants. This is to ensure you get the necessary bonuses when they receive votes.

7. Encourage and work with those you refer to continue to gather votes for their businesses, because this is how you accumulate your Blooms too.

8. Yes, real friends help their friends to succeed, and you are a real friend when you refer your friend and loved ones.
